SANREM CRSP is supported by the United States Agency for International Development and the generous support of the American people through Cooperative Agreement No. EPP-A-00-04-00013-00
The SANREM CRSP is managed by the Office of International Research, Education, and Development at Virginia Tech.
Long-term Research Award (LTRA) activities
A Phase IV request for applications (RFA) for Southeast Asia is open through December 1, 2009. Southeast Asia proposals must include a component in Cambodia because of USAID priorities. However, applicants should NOT contact the USAID Mission in Cambodia at this time. The USAID Cambodia Mission does not currently have a strategic objective related to agriculture, but one is under development. Consultation with USAID Missions in the second Southeast Asian country (Indonedia, Laos, or Philippines) is expected for all project applications.
The goal of the LTRA program is to implement multidisciplinary and multi-institutional research that mobilizes science and technology, fosters innovation and improvement in the social, economic, and environmental sustainability of agriculture and natural resource management, and leads to improved livelihoods and expanded trade opportunities and capacities for stakeholders.
