OIRED is working with PaL-Tech, a private sector firm, to establish
Nile University—a university devoted
exclusively to high technology subjects.
Nile University will offer undergrad,
master’s and Ph.D. programs in: IT,
Communications, Biotech, Emerging
Technology, and Alternative Energy
Solutions.
Nile University will enhance Egyptian
education and training systems so that they
can respond more efficiently to the needs of
the private sector. This will help create
the base for a modern IT-oriented workforce.
