Meetings are by appointment only, except during walk-in hours: Tue: 10.00 – 11.30am; Wed: 1.30 – 3.30pm; Thu 10.00 – 11.30am.

Important Announcement

CBP has announced that, effective 4/30/2013, it will discontinue the issuance of paper I-94 cards. Please refer to the CBP website for more information. For answers to frequently asked questions, refer to the I-94 Automation Fact Sheet.

International Support Services (ISS) is under the direction of the Office of Outreach and International Affairs and is responsible for processing non-student visas at Virginia Tech including J-1 exchange visitor visas, H-1B visas, and applications for permanent residency.  ISS also processes VT faculty and department requests for approval to invite B visa visitors to Virginia Tech and works with the Associate Vice President for International Affairs to issue invitation letters for B visa visitors.
