To get to Riva San Vitale by car: if coming from North (Zürich) take the North-South highway (A2) through the San Gotthard Tunnel, exit Melide and then drive on State Road to Capolago; in Capolago take the deviation to Riva San VItale. If you come from South (Italy) take the Mendrisio exit, then follow the signs to Riva San Vitale.
